Meet The Founder

Robert K. Rainey

President – Master Investigator (CPIO)

Robert Rainey has been a licensed private investigator in Ontario since 1995. Throughout his 30 year career, Robert has conducted a wide range of investigations across Canada including fraud and theft investigations, surveillance, open-source intelligence (OSINT), undercover investigations, trademark and copyright infringement cases, locate investigations,    financial & asset investigations, as well as interviews and witness statements.  

Robert has personally conducted and managed tens of thousands of investigations throughout his career while leveraging teams of investigators through extensive training and meticulous planning to deliver the highest quality results for clients in a multitude of sectors including corporate, insurance, legal, government, and education.  Having managed Canada’s largest team of investigators for two decades, his experience and skillset have earned him a reputation as someone who clients can count on for professional, personalized, and results driven service.

A member of the Council of Professional Investigators of Ontario (CPIO), Robert was granted the designation of Master Investigator by the council in 2021.  He is also a member of the Council of International Investigators (CII) and Canadian Association of Special Investigation Units (CASIU), associations which provide him access to colleagues and investigators all over the world.

ABOUT THE FOUDER AND PRESIDENT

Robert Rainey has been a licensed private investigator in Ontario since 1995. Throughout his almost 30 year career, Robert has conducted a wide range of investigations across Canada including fraud and theft investigations, surveillance, open-source intelligence (OSINT), undercover investigations, trademark and copyright infringement cases, locates, financial backgrounds as well as interviews and witness statements.   

Robert has personally conducted and managed thousands of investigations throughout his career while leveraging teams of investigators through extensive training and meticulous planning to deliver the highest quality results for clients in a multitude of sectors including corporate, insurance, legal, government, and education.  Having managed Canada’s largest team of investigators for two decades, his experience and skillset have earned him a reputation as someone who clients can count on for professional, personalized, and results driven service.

PEACE OF MIND

Kennedy Investigations Inc. is insured and is fully licenced through The Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services (MCSCS), particularly the Private Security and Investigative Services Branch (PSISB).  We are regulated by the Private Security and Investigative Services Act (PSISA) and are recognized as an Investigative Body as defined in the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).  This status allows us to collect, use, and disclose personal information on a non-consensual basis in compliance with PIPEDA.  Furthermore, it provides clients with the authority to provide us with personal information related to individuals being investigated.  Rest assured, we will remain in compliance with these acts at all times and conduct our investigations within the boundaries of all regulations and laws.
